CO-CURRICULAR EDUCATION & ACTIVITIES
The system of Vedic education follows the time-honoured practice of oral communication, and memorization.
As a part of their programme, students are taught Sanskrit, the language of the Vedas, and Religious Studies that help them appreciate the rational foundation of the Vedas
To enable them to be a part of modern society, and to contribute towards its betterment, students are also taught the following subjects:
English: To enable them to communicate and interact with an increasingly global world.
Computer Studies: To enable them to utilize the new medium of the 21st century, and exploit the vast resources of an interconnected world.
Yoga: To imbibe in them the importance of training their minds and bodies for a healthier life by the regular practice of yoga.
Students are also encouraged to be well informed about the world. Supplementary programmes include the reading of daily newspapers and periodicals, helping enrich the students with information and practical knowledge.
